Chevalier College Telephone Campaign

29 June – 15 July 2017

Telephone Call Campaign Ambassador

Background and Caller Job Description

This is your chance to do something worthwhile, earn money AND have fun chatting to Alumni and parents!

From 29 June to 15 July, Chevalier College will hold its third annual telephone campaign and we are looking for Telephone Call Campaign Ambassadors.  Is this you?

The purpose of this campaign is twofold: to raise funds for the Annual Appeal, and to enhance communication between Chevalier College and our Alumni.  They enjoy hearing what’s happening at Chev – particularly from a past student or recent graduate’s perspective – and this is an important opportunity for you to help build closer links with our Alumni community.

All Alumni / Chev community members whom we intend to call will receive a letter in advance letting them know that a Student or graduate will be calling to ask them to make a donation to the Annual Appeal and to update them on Chevalier College’s news and forthcoming events.  Everyone will be given the opportunity to opt-out if they do not wish to receive a phone call. We try to ensure all those who receive a phone call are expecting it and are happy to talk.

Dates, Hours and Rates of Pay

The dates of the telephone campaign are as follows, and callers will be required to work at least 16 hours per week (4 shifts a rate of $23 per hour).  Those who show themselves to be trustworthy and effective may be able to work additional hours (with the pre-approval of Chevalier College, and your Campaign Manager).
