Over 3 weeks from 6 July, a call centre team of 16 enthusiastic Chev past students will be part of Chev’s first ever telephone outreach campaign. The past students recruited in our team range across many years, but are mostly Chev graduates from within the past 5 years or so. The team completed a two-day training program in the call centre located in the Drawing Room of Bosco Carroll House. The calls will take place on weekday evening and all day on Saturdays. The campaign is aiming to create greater affinity with our past students, to update contact details, learn more about their life since Chev, to invite them to upcoming reunions and also offer them the opportunity to participate in the Chev Annual Fund Appeal to support bursaries and the building fund. Current parents will also be included to survey them about communication methods the College is using and ways we can improve the quality of parental involvement in College life. Everyone on the call list received a letter from the Principal in advance telling the of the purpose of the call and providing an opportunity to opt out if they wished. If you get a call , we hope you will enjoy the experience. This campaign is being conducted by the College’s Community Liaison & Development Office as part of its work with the Chevalier College Foundation and the Chevalier Past Students. For any feedback please contact the either Paul McShane or Sally Thompson at the College on paststudents@chevalier.nsw.edu.au
