Congrats to Professor Geordie Williamson (CPS 1999) on the announcement that he will become the youngest living Fellow of the Royal Society (a UK-based scientific and natural philosophy institution founded in 1660).

He joins the tradition of other Royal Society Fellows such as Sir Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking and will be inducted this July as one of 50 new Fellows, including Tesla/SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

Geordie is also a great teacher and communicator, as evidenced by his visit to Chev in March last year to talk to our senior students about the Google Page Rank algorithm.

Hats off to the Chevalier staff who helped Geordie along the way, especially maths teachers like Fr John Franzmann msc.
